Leveraging more than 20 years of experience in providing solutions our customers with in the industrial heavy-duty textiles automatic welding solutions, we are introducing a reliable and efficient hot-air welding machine.
The SM-230-SA FlexWeld welding machine is engineered to make complex welding jobs easier. It is optimized for welding demanding products like inflatables and can also handle small or complex welding jobs on extra-large structures like gazebos, pergolas and truck covers.
Ideal for manufacturers who need to perform continuous welds on thermoplastic industrial textiles and films, the SM-230-SA FlexWeld welding machine is the result of our dedication to continuous improvement.
Technical Details
SM-230-SA houses Hot-Air welding technology: to join thermoplastic fabrics and films through electrical heated air injected at the welding point
After heating, the fabric is then pressed between the two rotary wheels to create a resistant welding seam.
SM-230-SA FlexWeld is a highly versatile welding machine and can accommodate three interchangeable working surfaces:
- Round arm, for radius welding, finishings, small and complex weldings
- U-shaped arm, to weld thermoplastic extra long fabrics
- Flat table, for linear welding

Building on 20 years of field experience, we focused on developing a welding system that, in addition to linear welding, could help our customers solve one of the most complex welding jobs: radius welding.
When it comes to radius welding, our FlexWeld machine ensures perfectly welded seams and is versatile to help our customers solve the many challenges related to technical textiles and thermoplastics industrial processing.
The lower aluminum wheel, housed on a spherical support, has a unique tilting movement thus allowing a continuous and automatic alignment to the upper wheel which exerts perfect pressure and grip along all the depth of the fabric to be welded. Furthermore, being made of aluminum, the two rotary wheels do not leave any signs on the welded fabric.
The result is a high-quality, reliable and aesthetically pleasant welded fabric.
